Christian Bros. Racing Champions in the Arctic Cat Lobby

(6/20/2012)

Christian Bros. Racing display at Arctic Cat

Walk into the Arctic Cat lobby in Thief River Falls right now and you'll see a cool display commemorating the championship-winning success of Christian Bros. Racing teammates Ryan Simons and D.J. Ekre.

Christian Bros. Racing is the powerhouse Arctic Cat-based team from Fertile, Minn. They contest the ISOC National Snocross Series with Pro riders Logan Christian, Garth Kaufman and Cory Davis, as well as amateur racer Evan Christian.

In cross-country, the CBR team consists of Ryan Simons, D.J. Ekre and Brian Dick, with occasional appearances by the snocross racers on “off” weekends.

For the second year in a row, CBR racers have captured both the Pro 600 and Pro Open High-Point Championship titles in USCC.

Ryan Simons defended his title in the Pro 600 class, combing consistency and a win at the Oslo event.

In the weather-abbreviated 2012 USCC season, CBR racers took five of six wins in the Pro 600 class, with both Brian Dick and Ekre scoring two each.

Ekre won four of six Pro Open finals in 2012 to handily capture the High Point title.

The display in the Arctic Cat lobby highlights the team’s XC success as well as their sponsors DRIFT Racing, Speedwerx, FOX Shox, Stud Boy, Troy Lee Designs, APV Oil, Sportech, Scott, Camoplast, C&A Pro, RSI, Evolved SX, Mitsuboshi, Culligan, West Central and Soygreen.

Congrats to Ryan, D.J. and the entire CBR crew!

(It probably goes without saying, but you can check out the display Monday – Friday between 9am-5pm. Plant tours occur at 1pm.)

Thanks for reading.

I was inspired by a nmuebr of things but mainly by long pretentious email signatures. some even have blinky things in them. Annoying at the end of every email. . . actually annoying at the end of any email.
