I sure do miss working there and seeing sleds roll down the line! Was always a highlight to the day.

I feel the same Hoff. I loved seeing the new models roll down the line, but especially loved seeing the race sleds.

Did AC build/sell more sleds in 21' vs 20'?

Hoff, did you retire? I'm told when a person turns 55 at the factory you are pretty much done being an employee at Textron.

The spindles look waaaay different on these models.
JimR says:

Thats because they are mountain spindles and the sled in the picture is the mountain race sled

George O Safford - Those are standard Mountain Spindles, but they do look different than the spindles found on ARSII models like the Procross chassis.

Even though I did not apply for a new 2021 XC race sled, but got approved for this years race program, would I still be able to actually purchase the XC sled? Which I heard that the consumer and race sleds will be the same now

Race sled looks great.

I’m currently laying in my hospital bed battling COVID 19. Sure would be fun if you could start a 2022 60th anniversary rumors topic to help me pass the time Kale. Maybe drop us some info on a sweet new motor to give those 850’s and 650’s were always hearing so much about fits. Triple, triple, new chassis, new rear suspension. Sure could use some good info out of my favorite brand to brighten my day. Take care everyone.

How many R-XC will cat make this year??
Kale says:

Derek - If you were approved through Team Arctic race program for a R-XC, then you "should" be able to buy one. If you weren't approved for an R-XC, you won't be able to buy one.

Jeff Glass - no clue on build numbers. That info doesn't get shared.

Bulldog - Sorry you have to deal with COVID. Get well soon! Im guessing some of the 2022 models will be green...lets start with that rumor. It won't get me in trouble. ;)
Hoff says:

Bulldog - No I didn't retire, many days I wish I was still there, but made the decision to move closer to family with my wife and two young kids. Still love the brand though, just picked up my 2021 ZR 8000 limited the other week. Can't wait to get it on the snow!
