July 29-31: Arctic Cat 50th Anniversary Party

Arctic Cat employees at the 1 Millionth Celebration

The dates have been set: Arctic Cat's 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place July 29-31, 2011, in Thief River Falls, Minn.

This will undoubtedly be the largest homecoming in Arctic Cat history, with a party, displays, factory tours, entertainment, demos and unimaginable ArcticInsider-decal-placement opportunities.

Most importantly, the 50th will be about connecting with Cat people...ALL of the riders, racers, employees and fans who have made this company (and sport) what it is today.

Full details of the 50th Celebration will be unveiled in the coming weeks. For now, mark your calendars (and make reservations).

John, of the hotels you recommended above, can I walk to the factory from them? If not, are there any?
John Sandberg says:
3/23/2011 9:00:00 AM

Best Western is across the road from the factory. The others are across town (about 1 mile from the plant).
Mike Lang says:
3/25/2011 8:27:00 PM

Any campgrounds close by???
Aasen says:
3/29/2011 8:25:00 AM

There is a city campground across from the plant. Can't make reservations as it is on a first come, first serve basis. There is also the fair grounds camping area which has full hook ups. Again, first come, first serve. The activities will be at the fair grounds so this should be your first choice.

Hi John,

Going to make reservations this weekend with my wife, as it's right after our anniversary, and I can't think of a better way to spend it. Will there be events all three days, or just Friday and Saturday?

See you then!
Preston lee says:

I was just wondering if the vintage show is inside or outside? The way it looks right now I am bringing three sleds. Also I will be there for shure.

Thanks, Preston

If the Motels are booked in Thief River Falls, you might want to try the Sevens Clan Casino. Its only about 7 miles south of TRF on hwy 59. They have a great water park for the kids to.
