Mountain Cats...Waiting to Pounce

Riding 2015 Arctic Cats with Arctic Cat engineers. Photo by

February 23, 2014.

Centennial range of the Bitterroot Mountains, west of Island Park.

Pre-production 2015 model year Arctic Cat M and XF snowmobiles.

Arctic Cat engineers, test riders a couple lucky extras, including the photographer.

A few stuck machines... a few harrowing HOLY $#*@! moments... a few moose... two timber wolves... and everyone returned safe and happy.

My next sled will for sure be a XF 8000, I have rode the 140+" tracks and didn't feel a drawback when trail riding and the upside when you want to get off trail is a huge! I really would like to get out west to see what that is all about.

John you have got it figured out!!! Need an apprentice? ;)
