Me LIKE! Wish they would offer the 500 RX with Power Steering though. I do not need anything bigger but want EPS at an affordable price.

I am glad to see that they realized they didn't have to reinvent the wheel... The atvs they had, were good, now they get even better by just changing and improving the things that needed it. I would like to have seen more power, but how much does a person really need anyway? I can't wait for the trv next year. I will take a 2016 550 trv in lime green with a plow, and you can keep the power steering.

I like these a lot. I wish there was a TRV in the revised platform, but I understand that's a lot to accomplish in one rollout.
Lots of new features here that are intriguing.
I would like to ride one.
I think if these changes result in better trail riding performance they could gain some market share, BUT do not alienate the folks who buy their's to do work.

Jerry: The 1000 stays in the old body for at least the start of the 2015 model year.

700 H1 engine used in the XR 700 correct? Comparing the specs to the 700 in the Kymco 700 and they are identical. Are these the same motor? The pictures Ive seen make them appear to be.
Is AC making these FOR Kymco or is Kymco having AC assemble them?
I always thought this was built off the 650 H1, but now Im not so sure. It doesnt change my opinion one way or the other as its still a great motor, I was just curious.

The 700 H1, 550 H1 and 1000 H2 are all built in St. Cloud. American made engine.

I realize WHERE they are built since I live in St Cloud, but that doesnt mean they werent cast and developed by someone else.
Look up the specs for yourself. The Kymco 700 is identical to the 700H1. Im not saying its a bad thing, just curious because they clearly do not have a foundary to do the castings for them here.

Same size but completely different look. Google search. Very different layout on them.

The 700 in the Kymco Has the Clutch and Drive belt on the opposite side.

Jim, you stated the 1000 twin will be in the old body style until early 2015. Does this mean they will be definitely changing this style to the new xr platform? If they are doing that I'll put my Polaris 1000 on hold. Thanks

They check to see if the roof is in good shape and if there are any trees that are overgrown bescaue they worry about fire. Stuff like that. They look at things that could help prevent a claim. Don't worry. They point out things you can do that help you not have a claim. That helps them not to have a claim and it helps you not to have something go wrong. They may ask you to correct something that prevents a hazard. We also worry about old pipes that can break bescaue of a water loss and washing machine hoses that need to be replaced. I am mentioning just a few of the most important things.
