Visitation and Funeral Information for Hunter Houle

(1/8/2017)

Hunter Houle

Last Friday, while getting his sled and himself ready for this weekend’s USXC race on Pine Lake in Gonvick, Minn., Hunter Houle suffered a crash on his snowmobile and died a short time later.

For friends and acquaintances that want to celebrate his life and share their love with Hunter’s brothers Lucas, Jeremy and Larry, sister Jenna, his dad Steve and his mom Charlene, there will be a visitation on Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 4-8pm at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Forest Lake, Minn.

As well, Hunter’s funeral is from 10-11am on Wed., Jan. 11, also at Hosanna (9300 Scandia Trail N, Forest Lake, MN 55025).

I have some thoughts I’m going to share about Hunter here on ArcticInsider, but I’m not ready yet.

Such a devastating tragedy for the Houle Family, Christian Brothers, Hibbert's Team Arctic and everyone that knew Hunter or his family. Not to mention the entire snowmobile racing community. We pray that God helps to comfort ayour pain and guide you all during this unimaginable time.

While we will not be able to attend from Detroit, MI is there anything set up yet for contributions or charitable donations. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ixtapa,MX.
My heart is heavy and my eyes are swollen. I feel so sad that such a wonderful young person leaves before you. Both of your families have suffered through enough loss already, it is devastating to think there is yet another.
To all of the Houle and Lofton families, we are all grieving with you.
Jim

I have known the Houle & Lofton families for many years & have had the pleasure to have watched Hunter grow through his racing career. He was a fine young man with a great sense of humor and highly respected by the snowmobile racing family. Godspeed my friend!!!

Hunter was a fine young man, and a good friend of my son. He always had a twinkle in his eye and made everyone smile. Gone to soon......but he won't be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Houle Family. We know their pain all too well as we also lost our son in a similar situation early in his life.

God's Speed Hunter

What a sad sad day! I never met him, but I feel like I have after reading the outpouring of thoughts from those who did.
Give his family and friends the strength to move forward, but never forget what a bright young man he was.
