Where to See the 2016 Arctic Cat Snowmobiles

(3/13/2015)

2016 Arctic Cat snowmobile line

Where to see new 2016 model Arctic Cat snowmobiles?

For starters, select models are probably already at your local dealer! Yep, for the second year in a row, Arctic Cat has built early-production machines and shipped them to dealers, where they’ll be on display and -- perhaps in some areas -- might even be available for test rides.

Dealers in the Central and Eastern regions of North America either already have (or will receive next week) a mix of some of the following models:

ZR 6000

ZR 8000

XF 7000 Crosstour

XF 6000 Crosstrek

XF 8000 Crosstrek

Pantera 7000

Bearcat 7000

Western region dealers will receive the following machines:

M 6000

M 8000

Bearcat 7000

In addition, Arctic Cat will have most of its 2016 model line on display at the following:

March 13-14, Old Forge, NY, Hiltebrant Rec Center

March 13-14, West Yellowstone Expo, Holiday Inn

March 26-29, Jackson Hole Hillclimb, Snow King Mountain

I have purchased arctic cat snowmobiles most of my life(old man) Miss you(arctic cat) at shows. It is nice to compare new sleds at same time. I probably will buy new this year,( at the show )

Been riding sleds (all Cats) since 1968. Started buying new Cats on a regular basis in 1990. Since then I always looked forward to the spring show and comparing different sleds and BS'ing with all involved. Many a time my buying decisions were made at the show. Brochures do not always do justice to the way the sled looks in person. I understand that dealers should have some of the new sleds set up but it seems in my area once spring rolls around the dealers are more interested in getting boats and ATVs set-up than a new sled that will probably sit there all summer.

Just venting, miss the spring show and a chance to view most of the sleds in person. Don't understand why Cat doesn't participate.

Trying to decide between the El' Tigre or the black limited ZR.

Great site - love all the info!!

I agree with you 110% Rick. Not one of my local dealers get the early view sleds. So its a 2hr to 4hr trip somewhere if you wish to attempt to see anything, where before you could see them all and compare. Not to mention the good people you were able to chat with. Now if you can find a dealer that has any he is to busy with Boats, atv's tractors,ect.. to be bothered by someone that is looking at sleds and diverts his time to others.

I agree completely. My buddies use to go to the show and look at all the competition - me trying to convince them to buy cats, and they trying to get me to buy other brands. It was a great trip we all enjoyed.
Last show I went to with them, there were no CATS! I couldn't believe it.
Does anyone know why the decisions was made to not support the Spring Preview Shows?

Imagine for a moment that Ford or Chrysler decided to not go to the Detroit Auto Show. It just wouldn't happen.
At first I kind of agreed with Cat and they didn't feel the need to attend the shows and that it was better to get a bunch of new sleds out there so people could actually ride them in the spring.
Now I'm starting to believe its just plain dumb. With an early spring, just like everyone has said, no dealer wants to setup and sit on a couple of sleds for the whole summer, when people are looking at atvs, pwc, or tractors.
I feel Cat owes it to the people who bleed green and have been loyal to Arctic Cat through thick and thin, to be at the shows!!
This isn't funny anymore. The other manufacturers have stepped up to the plate and build quality products and are at the shows, taking sales with them.

From my point of view, the consumer shows over the past 5+ years have been very poorly attended. At least in MN and from what I understand in general. Cat has chosen to save a large deal of time an $ by not attending and doing something cool (aka taking someone to the photo shoot and giving them a new sled). Ski Doo was the first to pass on attending the consumer show in MN and was also chastised pretty heavily for it. Even when Cat did attend the shows, there were people that weren't happy because they didn't bring EVERY single model and color they make. Though they aren't attending show again this year, it makes to me why they aren't.

I feel you guys' pain !! I'm lucky enough to live close to one venue Cat has always been at..... Old Forge NY. However, this year I was out of town and missed it. I can't imagine what it's like to have NO show anywhere near you to be able to attend. I'm "Jones-ing" from missing the Old Forge show this season .... and wishing Cat was still "attending" the shows the other manufacturers are so I'd have other chances to get to see them in person....and not just 1 or 2 model I'm probably not interested in anyway at my local dealer

I was disappointed to see no appearance at the show in Maine. I just lost my enthusiasm when I wasn't able to look and compare with the other companies. Didn't go to NH to demo but not sure if the sled That I might snow check{zr 5000} would have been there. Losing my passion for the sport and not going the extra mile for the consumer really turns me off. As an older rider of age 60 I guess I'll hold on to my low mileage 07 f-1000. May have pulled the trigger, did so last year but dealer went out out and not sure if 17 will continue what I think is a good value in the 5000. Can CAT afford to lose business to the other OEM'S???

Makes no difference if they are at the show or at a dealer near you. The people at the show for the most part from what I have seen really have no clue on the sleds anyway. A week away from purchasing a 2015 ZR 6000 LXR and never seen one at the show last year.

The prices continue to be rediculous on new sleds and I guess you really have to pay for the latest and the greatest. It's probably the best decision to buy a holdover as at least you can sit on the sled before you buy it. When I retire I hope I have the time to put a ton of miles on and take advantage of the 4yr. warranty under the snow check deal. Looking for long term reliability and gas and go peace of mind but not sure if AC and the local dealers in Maine Really want to cater to the customer. Sorry about the rant but wondering really where the industry is going.
