Blair Morgan's First Season

(5/31/2011)

Blair Superman Morgan at Duluth 1997

I have GREAT memories of when Blair Morgan burst onto the snocross scene.

In a sport littered with goofball nicknames, the monicker "Superman" was an accurate standout that truly fit the man.

Chris Vincent on an Arctic Cat

Going through photos for this book project I'm working on has opened the flood gates to memories of earlier times.

Like back in the mid-1990s when Chris Vincent was racing for Team Arctic.

Insight into Roger's Respect

(5/18/2011)

Roger Skime, VP of Engineering at Arctic Cat

I could write a book about Roger Skime, detailing his gigantic impact on the sport of snowmobiling and his even greater role at Arctic Cat.

But what I'm more impressed with than his inventiveness is the absolute dignity and respect that he brings to the sport.

Bittersweet Mountain Ride

(5/4/2011)

Despite the thrills and incredible adventure that mountain riding offers, it still scares the you-know-what out of me.

This video illustrates the fact perfectly. It's painful to watch, I don't believe there are any swear words (the guy is French-Canadian), and it appears that he doesn't get injured.

Thanks to sledRacer.com for sending it to me.
