If it’s repeated at the upcoming World’s Championship, it will be two Arctic Cat racers battling for the win.

Smoke 'em if You've Got 'em

7/12/2011 12:37:00 PM

If you smoke, use Arctic Cat lighters to spark-up

If you're planning on firing up a heater or two at the 50th, I suggest you do so with an appropriate flame source.

Click to see a few options.

(Thanks to Tom Rowland and Tom Ische for letting me shoot pix of their stuff.)

Oh Yeah Baby! Arctic Cat Minibikes

7/8/2011 10:04:00 AM

Arctic Cat Ramrod minibike

I'm not sure what I love more: The utterly cool style of the Arctic Cat minibikes, or that one of the model names was Ramrod.

Ramrod!?!

They HAD to have laughed (a lot) about that one while sipping cocktails at the Legion after-hours, circa 1972.

I'll Soon be Back from Fish'n

6/29/2011 2:08:00 PM

I'll soon return from this Arctic Cat fishing trip

Been on a fishing trip of sorts the past few months, compiling and writing the 50 Years of the Cat book. Which is why I haven't been posting as often as I'd like.

Thanks for bearing with me. I'll be back to "normal" in a week's time.

Oh, and by the way. It's been a great fishing trip. Caught a lot of nice fish, which I'll be sharing with you shortly.

Watercross Season

6/22/2011 8:16:00 AM

Team Arctic's Dale "Sam Spade" Lindbeck

I've been very late (and very lame) about putting in a plug for this season's IWA watercross races.

Already two races into the season and one of my all-time favorite Team Arctic racers -- Dale Lindbeck -- has notched the big "W."

Does W mean "wipeout" or "win?"

Extreme Snowmobiling is too EASY

"Anyone can learn extreme snowmobiling when the right steps are taken."

Yep... really (at least according to THIS EXCELLENT STORY.)

Once again, the internets are living up to their reputation as a fine news institution.

Blair Morgan's First Season

5/31/2011 8:07:00 AM

Blair Superman Morgan at Duluth 1997

I have GREAT memories of when Blair Morgan burst onto the snocross scene.

In a sport littered with goofball nicknames, the monicker "Superman" was an accurate standout that truly fit the man.
