Arctic Cat is not only hitting the ground running in the US and Canada, but on the international stage too. Well-known distributor Erling Sande is stepping up to lead things in the Nordic region; which includes Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
Erling Sande was the exclusive Arctic Cat distributor in Norway from 1984 through 2021. In 2022, parent company Textron moved away from the distributor model and experimented with a dealer-direct business model that only saw limited success. Recognizing that the Arctic Cat brand lost some of its momentum in that region, the new Arctic Cat company intends to return to a strong position in this important international market.
A natural choice to be the distributor for not only Norway, but Erling Sande now serves the other Nordic countries too. They were established in 1932 and are currently a distributor for over 20 different brands of work and recreational products. They have a modern state-of-the-art facility and employ the very latest technology in dealer communications, training and logistics.
Product Manager for ATVs and Snowmobiles at Erling Sande, Thommas Fylling states that the work to bring Arctic Cat to the Nordic countries is already underway, and is confident that everything will be ready when the season begins.
Man, I like the news stream of the last few weeks-keep it coming!
Another step in undoing the textron damage!
I had no idea this had been closed in the past. Begs the question did they shut this because of low sales at the time? Or just decide to toss the baby out the window in a knee jerk? (T)
Reopening seems like a good thing.
i hope so much arctic cat is seloling in europe again- they nearly lost all dealers to cf moto shit – but arctic cat had a good reputation here so im hoping for comeback 😉
