Dan Ebert & Cody Thomsen

Team Arctic's Dan Ebert (r) and Cody Thomsen

Team Arctic’s Dan Ebert (right) and Cody Thomsen have both risen to a new level in ISOC snocross this season. Literally, as they both jumped a class – Ebert to Pro and Thomsen to Semi Pro.

Unlike most of their contemporaries, Ebert and Thomsen work on their own sleds, every day.

Captured here inside the Ebert race shop in Lake Shore, Minn., by photographer Gary Walton, the duo are preparing for the National in Sandy, Utah, this coming weekend.

Look here for a full story on these two racers in the next couple weeks. And in the meantime, see if you can detect any top-secret race tricks on this sled.

  1. As it should be, the best riders are those who “know” their machines and understand the workings within. Give them hell boys, I’m sure your machines will be well prepared and have a spirit that rips and earns respect seldom found by wanna be prodigies.

    I wish I was 15 yrs younger… lol

  2. I agree! Its cool to see racers actually working on their own sleds! Exciting to think those two could possibly be the future of snowmobile engineering developments at Arctic Cat.

  3. I enjoyed reading your article. However, Kyle Pallin is a key member of this team as well. In addition to working on his own machines, taking on line college classes and working out everyday, Kyle has performed very well in his first year with Artic Cat. Thank you for your time.

  4. forget two weeks ago, in the 8th Freaky Friday video, Joel offered to give away a hmleet! Don’t forget to send Joel an email and in one line, tell him why you deserve a free hmleet.
