TGIF: The 2016 Labor Day Weekend Edition

First 1975 Arctic Cat snowmobile off of production line. Posted by ArcticInsider.com

I’m thankful for the men and women who produce the coolest damn machines in the whole world, whether it’s 1975 or 2015!

I’m thankful that, in the U.S. and Canada, it’s Labor Day weekend.

(I’m thankful that, in the past 10 years or so, it’s seemingly become a 4-day weekend for most poeople, because nobody who’s supposed to be at work today is returning my emails or phone calls.)

And I’m thankful it’s Friday, Sept. 4, 2015.

 6. Back in the old days, when there were book stores with acautl romance aisles, I never read reviews. Stood in the store for hours, reading blurbs and maybe even the first chapter. So many great new authors were impulse buys. Now, I will look at reviews, but I tend to also visit an author’s website. I do pay attention to low reviews for the same reasons as mentioned above, my pet peeves. I also dislike 1st person POV, generally want a HEA, can’t stand TSTL women. But my deal breaker is: I’m in love with 2 people and can’t choose. I absolutely can’t read a book where the (most times) heroine thinks she is in love with 2 men at the same time. I’m not talking sexual menages, although I’m not really a fan of them even though I like my romance steamy. I mean love, not lust. I know there are some great, well written, popular series out right now with this plot line and folks love them, but it is so emotionally foreign to me, I just can’t read the book. http://xpahokec.com tvnqbt [link=http://lyibuplhp.com]lyibuplhp[/link]
