U.S. Snow Cover Report

North American snow cover report for 12-26-17. Go snowmobiling (on an Arctic Cat)!

Here’s the snow cover over the U.S. and portions of Canada for Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017.

Verdict: The Christmas snow storm that hit the eastcoast on Christmas was a gift from above! Plus there’s decent snow in many areas of the Midwest, and lots of deep stuff out west.

  1. -22 this morning. Same for the next 10 days. Swamps and lakes should be good. Forecasting up to 4″ in my area over night thru tomorrow noon. Things are starting to shape up.

  2. That report is way off. Over here in ny there is areas of tug hill with over 25 feet this season and 7-9 feet on the ground as we speak.

  3. Just put on 25 miles breaking in my belt on my new 18 ZR 6000 last night. Great snow by Mahnomen. Cold as hell though. Wanted to get that done so I can open it up once it warms up some. Great sled btw.
