Hey Dudes, I'm reporting the shizzle on Wednesday in Thief River Falls. First up: 2012 F1100 Sno Pros goin down the line. This will be my demo ditch banger this upcoming season.
This sweet GrassCat is putting on the final touches to the Factory' main entrance.
This guy was eating a Heath bar and almost ran me over on Main Street. He says Bobby Flame needs to drink more Monster and reminded me to always wear a helmet.
Speaking of Main Street: The city of Thief River Falls is flying the Arctic Cat flag up and down all the main streets.
Tom Rowland took a quick break while unloading his SECOND semi trailer full of vintage AC products that will be on display.
If you were wondering, it takes 50 years to achieve Awesome Status. This billboard was just installed near the Main Factory Entrance
The Ralph Engelstad arena is filling up quickly with rare products for the vintage display. This is one sample of Rowlands 65 machines he brought with: a prototype IFS racer/trail machine, which begs the question: when was over-the-engine steering invented?

"50 Years of Awesome" sign is... well... awesome! Too bad I can't make it tomorrow, but the whole family will be there bright and early on Saturday.
Something tells me I better make sure there's plenty of disc space available on the digital camera!

I wanted to make the trip out from NY so very badly, but time and cash prevent it. Hopefully we get to see lots of pics and reports, enjoy everyone!

Hey, that IFS proto looks familiar, LOL! (One small correction, while the sled is deffinately in Tom's possession, I am proud owner of that very rare piece) Cat only built two them that we know of, and Tom does in fact own the other. They are in the process if lifting a mold off my pan, hence being displayed naked. Seems that folks liked seeing the motor and suspenion, so it worked out pretty darn well.
Needless to say, I would like to thank Tom for getting the Doug Oster - Team Arctic Direct Drive racer to the show for me. It was great to have one of the many great sleds on display.
And thanks John for posting a pic of the sled:>) I would love to hear more about it if any of the Cat guys would like to share info on it.
