Lots More Arctic Cat Memorabilia (Ische Collection)

(10/17/2011)

Ische family collection of Arctic Cat memorabilia

Yep, in addition to a collection of amazing Arctic Cat vintage race sleds, Tom, Nancy and daughter Brianna Ische have quite an assortment of memorabilia.

I dig the Kirk and Tucker Hibbert-edition ZR racers. Especially the Tucker version (right), because it's a good replica of his 2000 X Games winning Mod Sled, rather than just a stickered-up version of stocker.

How about some of the original Arctic Cat toy models, including this Cheetah and Panther, along with the Winnebago RV and trailer. I guess they didn't quite get the scale correct between the sleds and the RV.

Also, did people really use their RVs to go on snowmobile trips? I've seen magazines do "that story," but I think they were simply trying to court RV advertising (or looking to get the free use of an RV during the winter).

Sweet Arctic Cat key chains from the early 1970s.

Cool Cat bling, from long before we called it bling.

The classic Schmidt beer can with the Arctic Cat Panther, dwarfed by the monster beer stein from the early 1990s.

Another classic... the lighted wall clock with the Jim Dimmerman insert.

I'd pay a lot more attention to the time if I could look at a clock that's this cool.

I can't wait for the days when this baby is 40 degrees cooler than the indicated temp. Not too many more weeks.

Before Action Graphics, before Daniel Paul's, there was custom vinyl for your sled (or boat, camper, etc...) registration.

I Believe in Movin', and I believe This is the Year of the Cat. Really.

I like the Black Magic cards. Seems like a perfect name for cards.

Amazing! Arctic Cat-branded SuperSeer goggles, with the original box.

Not memorabilia, rather actual NOS Arctic Cat parts. But somehow the boxes make it look like memorabilia to my eyes.

I would look Bonevalent wearing one of these babies. So cool!

That's if for now, I'll post more of the Ische collection sometime soon, including some sleds that didn't make it into the book.

I want one of those fur fedoras in the worst way! Every once in awhile you see them for sale on evilbay for crazy money. Maybe someday I can score one at a thrift store or garage sale.

That stuff is so cool, I look over all of the pictures that I took at the 50th and I never get tired of looking at all of the collectables. It is really neat that so many people had that kinda stuff from so long ago, but what was even more amazing, was the quality of the stuff that people had from so long ago. Oh and by the way, any of you guys looking for the 30 gallon 50th anniiversary oil drum, the part number for it is in the 2012 supplement catalog that John posted on this site a few days ago.

The quality of their stuff is amazing, thanks for posting. I like the Ice Patrol model kit...Tom, if you want me to assemble that for you, I'd be happy to.

Tom, Nancy and Brianna have a wonderful collection. A family that plays together stays together!

It's a shame the Arcticwear Dept. didn't put out any retro stuff for the 50th Anniversary. Would've been a big hit!!

The toy Panther brings back memories for me as I got one for a Christmas present around 1970 or so. A few years earlier I had gotten hooked on snowmobiling after riding the new Scorpion owned by my parent's bachelor farmer friend Mel. I begged and begged and begged for my parents to buy me a snowmobile but my dad thought they were a waste of money. Right up until Christmas that year I kept hoping there would be a real one in the garage on Christmas Eve. But alas, I only got the toy Panther. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. But the story has a happy ending as my brother and I bought a used machine from our milk truck driver Harvey the following year with money earned from our 4-H projects. And, yes, I am still hooked on snowmobiling after more than 40 years of it.

Impotent males hardly ever experienced it so great. Viagra pioneered the oral remedy for Erection Dysfunction. As well as baton, it appears, continues to be transferred to Cialis. Between, Levitra also made its presence felt. But Cialis is the future drug which has the earth on its feet.

Good morning,
I'm writing to you because I'm looking to sell a set of Service, Parts, and Shop manuals from the 1960's to the year 2000. This includes Arctic Cat snowmobiles, ATV's and watercraft. Please let me know if you are interested, or know anyone who may be.

Kind regards,

Cami Flom

I have an early '70's women's medium size one piece snowmobile suit in arctic cat green from Arctic Wear in Rainy River Ontario with a matching white Arctic Cat headware in pretty good shape. Can you possibly tell me if they are collector's items and some idea of their worth.

Thank you.

I have a Arctic Cat Jacket and Bibs, woman size medium...Awesome condition, it's early 70's right in there. Black, green, and pinkish purple. I have had them at least 25 years and no one has ever worn them since I got them. Very well kept :) I am sure that they would be considered a collector's item. However, I was wondering if you could give me an idea of their worth. Thanks so much for your time in this matter :) Have very Happy Holidays.........
