Scored!: Sweet Arctic Cat Memorabilia

(10/16/2011)

Arctic Cat Lighter

I've seen these old, Park-made Arctic Cat lighters for years, but always in other peoples' collections. I finally came across a good deal on two, still in the original box. Now I'm going to take up smoking Camel straights just so I can use these babies.

Brian Sturgeon model Arctic Cat ZR 440

Back in the mid-to-late-1990s and early 2000s, when Arctic Cat sold limited edition model snowmobiles, I just assumed they'd always be widely available. So I never bought any.

Well, now I've finally gotten the Brian Sturgeon-edition ZR440. One of 1,500, with Brian's autograph on the box.

Best of all, I got this straight from Sturgeon, who assured me that Steve Thorsen and Dean Schwarzwalter (T/S Racing) actually calibrated the suspension and clutching on this model.

Thanks Brian!

Lighters and Arctic Cat models

That's all... I just wanted to share my gratitude for having gotten this sweet memorabilia.
