JOIN US FOR THE ARCTICINSIDER RIDE & RALLY, JUNE 29TH

After shaking the dust off a few weeks back with my first off-road ride of the season (see story here), the idea to host an ArcticInsider Ride & Rally was born. I’ll be honest, this first year event I plan to keep things simple. A gathering, a ride, some lunch, and some raffle prizes…all wrapped up in less than a day. The idea is to simply get together, enjoy some riding and enjoy some conversation. There will be no cost to participate, and lunch and post-ride beverages will be on your own…although I never turn down a cold one on-the-house. Here’s the details:

DATE: Saturday, June 29, 2024 / LOCATION: Wahkon, Minnesota

SCHEDULE: Gather in Wahkon starting at 9:00am. Enjoy guided and self-guided rides of Red Top and Solana Forest trails with trails for both ATVs and side-by-sides. Return to Wahkon and Mugg’s bar and restaurant at 12:30. Enjoy lunch and beverages on your own along with raffle prizes and Arctic Cat trivia.

Thomas SnoSports will also have a few new Arctic Cat ATV and side-by-side models on hand for demo opportunities. To ride one, you’ll need to sign a waiver prior to departure from Wahkon that morning.

While I’d love to have as many Arctic Cat riders joining us as possible, any brand is welcome. To help keep tabs on the number of participants we will have, I ask for you to please preregister by visiting the Arctic Shop and purchasing the ArcticInsider Ride & Rally 2024 package. There’s no cost, but by doing so you will be entered into a drawing for some Arctic Cat prizes after the ride. Spread the word, and I hope to see you there.

The rally point for the day’s activities will be Mugg’s in Wahkon, Minnesota. Details on parking and ride departure point will be forthcoming as we get a handle on the number of participants. Preregister by ordering the free Ride & Rally package.
Thomas SnoSports will have a handful of new off-road units along for the ride for demo ride opportunities. Why test ride in a parking lot when you can go on a trail ride instead.
The Red Top trails are fantastic loops in the area, and these highlighted on this map along with others not shown offer up both under 50-inch and full-size riding opportunities.
When the riding is finished, you can cap the day with the third best chili in town or any one of several great food and beverage options the Mugg’s menu. Lunch will be on your own and I’ll be serving up Arctic Cat trivia and prizes while we dine. Hope you can join us.
