  1. I’ve been bailing water with AC for a couple years. Now I’m just going to bail. Can’t believe they completely dumped the MP 1000. Instead of putting the Wildcat X engine and clutch in it, they quit making it. Seriously disappointed with them but time to move on.

  2. I’m not disappointed but I’m not super impressed either, was hoping to see them do something more with the wildcat X like turbo charging the engine.

  3. I really like the new special editions atvs and wildcats. But I really hope arctic cat does something big next year. For their atvs they need to have a 800-850 engine and a faster 1000 around 85hp. They need to update the mud pro with better tires and radiator relocated to the front rack. Also they need something to compete with the can am renegade and polaris scrambler.

  4. Since there seems to be some upset folks with the wildcat..

Did you not see the video that they announced they will have a turbo wildcat for 2017 (date stated by countrycat)

Personally I commend cat on taking the time to make sure their R&D is complete and its solid before it comes into consumers hands..

  5. Wildcat X it is Arctic Cat! top dog and I am really disappointed about no having the motor hp over 100 hp for 2016. It is like they decided to take all models left over from 2015 and stamped with a 2016 year and give this crap to the consumer as new models.
I regret so much waiting to buy my new Can Am 101hp Marv. because of the same Arctic Cat 2016. They better step up their game and keep up all other manufactures in the side by side business.

  6. seems half the lineup is missing or im not on the right page?
    NO mud pro 1000
    NO diesel
    NO DVX300
only one TRV from 7 last year
no new XR(Alterra) chassis on TRV (this is what i was waiting to trade on)
and what happened to the cool smoked lights and push bar form last years limited XR models?
must be a lot of left overs in the system to be releasing a major trimmed down lineup.

  7. Nice colours but no 1000 sport to match renegade annd scrambler, will have to step up their game been waiting too long get your sh..h together and wildcat motor what s up ! mmm

  8. Very nice machines. The new ATV and Prowler chassis are serious upgrades. The colors are very nice. The problem is power. With everyone, including Honda and Cats “partner” coming out with innovative new products. This roll out isn’t going to gain market share. Not sure where the crew cab prowler is either.

  9. I carted around the 1st Arctic Cat ATV, the Bearcat, in 1995 to all the dealer shows. It didn’t even have body work, just a frame, engine & tires. Crazy how things have changed 20 years later.

  10. i like the special edition color and graphics on the TRV plus the cat eye lenses and metal racks. Not a fan of the XR. To much plastic on the font. Bulky looking.

  11. Good news on the TRV front…all new Alterra TRV models are scheduled to be available in February 2016. Engine sizes of 500, 550, 700 and 1000. In addition to the entirely different body and styling, the rear seat and rear rack is also completely reworked from what we currently have with the popular TRV models. On a related note…The all-new 2016 90 youth Alterra and the all-new Prowler 500 50-inch is scheduled to release in February 2016 too. The all-new HDX 700 Crew is slated to ship a few weeks later in March 2016.

  12. AllenO: You are likely correct in your suggestion above. While we were ordering the 2016s in Orlando no one was mentioning anything about a wave 1 or wave 2, but I see it mentioned occasionally since returning.

  13. Tom, is there any work concerning the engines in the second wave of 1000 atv’s? Not interested in any more Wildcat news. Already have 2 SXS I’m selling. I’m wanting a more powerful Mudpro 1000.

  14. hi guys-

thinkin about buin a wildcat trail 700-

is it worth to wait for the 2016 with EPS or should i look for a good Price reduced 2015 !??

    greetz

Not only do they blow cold, but those annoying south winds don’t apaepr to be drying up any of the standing water in the RRV .Even at 16C with winds to 80Km in the south and to 50km in Mb the ditches as of this morning were still running, and late last week standing water in the fields from GF to Fargo .

Shy cats, loud cats, skilled cats and goofy cats, cheeky cats and scaredy cats ! So have you ever wondered why ?
