ZACH HERFINDAHL RACING UPDATE – EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT SLED SET-UP IS WRONG

For years, ArcticInsider has been preaching the wrong tips on how to go-fast, and now I have to eat some crow, but Im not going to apologize.

Team Arctic’s multi-time cross-country Pro champ, Zach Herfindahl sets the record straight and shares some of his proper Catalyst RXC set-up tips. This season I expect to see a swing in sales on ultra-low handlebar risers, tall windshields and cutdown seats. [mind blown…sigh]

Before you get to the video, I included some info from Zach on his upcoming year. For Team Arctic fans, it’s going to be a fun season following all these new Catalyst units compete on the track! -Kale

ZACH HERFINDAHL -312 PRE-SEASON UPDATE

After ending the 2022-2023 race season with both Pro Stock and Pro Open championships, an I-500 win, and a 4th place finish at their first-ever Eagle River world championship, Zach and the Team Arctic Cross Country crew is fired up to kick off 2024 strong!

Last season, Zach secured the first Pro cross-country victory for the all-new Catalyst platform [READ STORY HERE], and proved it will be a continual race-winning contender for 2024. Wrenches have been flying in the shop as Zach and the crew prepare their freshly built RXCs for a winter-long battle. Team Arctic’s Cross Country program has a very busy ten-race schedule which includes competition in Cross Country, Enduro Oval and Sprint Oval disciplines.

Season 12 aboard the Factory Arctic Cat Cross Country sleds competing for race wins and championships! I am so fired up to be working with my crew for another season of Pro racing and beyond excited to get the Catalyst Arctic Cats not only in our hands but all Arctic Cat racers! A massive thank you to our partners that have been supporting our team for many years as well as announcing our team has partnered with FXR Racing for the 2023-24 season and beyond! We are excited to continue to push our social media growth and content to give back to you all as much as possible! We truly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone at the race track! Think snow!

I love watching these types of videos. Zach gives a general look at how he sets up his practice sleds which is great, but I really enjoy the small detail stuff Zach references that his mechanics, Berbs and Hector, handle on the race sleds. Small details most of us never think about for competition. Visit Zachherfindahl.com
