  1. Hey guys, I’m still lookjing for one of those flat brim moto helmets. I can’t remember the guy who used to sell them. If anyone has one i can buy lets meet up at Haydays by the freestyle pit. Hit me up on Instagram.

  2. I can’t speak for the flat brim moto helmet as I just don’t have the swagger to rock one of those. But I can speak of the Arctic Cat modular that is shown above…I’ve worn one of those the past few seasons and absolutely love it. It fits my riding style perfectly and will be wearing one again this year. We weighed one last season and found it interesting that it weighs within just a few ounces of the featherweight $400-plus helmets.

  3. I do like the helmet. Only complaint i have is that the cord doesn’t stay in the best. On groomed trails and going no faster than a moderate speed, the cord stays in just fine but tends to pop out if you get more active in your riding. I’m guessing thats a common issue with that style of cord in all heated visor helmets.

  4. As Tom Rowland stated these are great helmets! I’ve used one the last two years and I love it. My only complaint would be that the inner yellow/amber sun shield does frost up on below zero days. This is an issue with other brands also as my GMax does the same thing. Maybe an electric element in the sun shield also ? ThomasSnoSports has these in stock, get yours today !! ; )

  5. Well the wife has bought me a dual sport helmet as she says that she is not going to put up with me being so slow when riding and heading into the sun.

What happens is I get so much glare that my eyes start to water and I have trouble seeing clear. Might have something to do with my old retired age also.

The AC helmets above look ok but I’m thinking a visor may help with my problem with sun glare.

Time will tell on the helmet but if you see an old lost guy on a green 800 zr this winter… she left me behind !
