Press Release-

MORE WINS FOR TEAM ARCTIC AT TRF 300 CROSS-COUNTRY AND RMSHA HILLCLIMB OPENER

Team Green Stays On Top with Combined 21 Class Wins and 57 Podium Finishes

Team Arctic terrain racers kept up their torrid pace to close out January with crushing performances at the USXC Thief River Falls 300 cross-country and season-opening RMSHA hillclimb in Bellevue, Idaho. When the snow dust settled, Team Green was on top with 21 class victories and 67 podium finishes.

Four races into the USXC season and it’s still all-green atop the victory stand. Following two days of rough, fast cross-country in the ditches and on the rivers around Thief River Falls, Team Arctic claimed 16 of 21 class wins and 37 of 63 podium finishes – the team’s most dominant performance to date. The unconquerable Zach Herfindahl remains undefeated in the Pro 600 Stock class this season while also taking his third Pro Open win, making him the odds-on favorite to win the upcoming Winnipeg I-500. David Brown also scored two Expert 85 class wins in TRF while his father took two wins in the Classic IFS categories.

Other class winners at the USXC cross-country in TRF include Joe Wood, Chad Lian, Cody Wolter, Garet Grzadzielewski, Lucas Burnside, Paul Sillerud, Pete Mattison, Andy Pake, Sara Larson and Blaise Potucek.

Team Arctic hillclimb racers launched their season at the RMSHA event in Bellevue, Idaho, where they scored 5 class wins and 20 podium finishes aboard Arctic Cat M Series snowmobiles featuring the ProClimb chassis. Class winners included Todd Tupper (who claimed two wins), Jeremy Archibald, Russ Tapio and David McClure

“It was encouraging to see wins in the Stock, Improved and Mod classes at the first hillclimb of the season, and we know we can improve on that,” said Mike Kloety, Team Arctic Race Manager. “And once again our cross-country program is firing on all cylinders. We’re in the hectic, middle part of the race season. Our teams and racers are working extra hard right now. We appreciate their effort and the results they’re getting.”
