Yup Roger, I sheared your pain when Arctic Enterprises went under because I was working at the CDC in Plymouth when it happened. I had that experience twice because I started working for Arctic at Fargo and they closed that down to. I moved to TRF and worked there for four years. I worked for Arctic for a total of nine years and they were some of the best years that I had. There was a lot of hard work but a lot of fun too.

When it comes to Roger, what more can you say? when a person enjoys what they do for a living you never have to work a day in your life.. Some people get that opportunity, he created what Cat is today with Edgar and all the people that share that enthusiasm. your’e a good guy Roger! keep doing what you love!
One of the finest people I have met in my life…..
With all the respect in the world Roger is the “MAN”, not many in the industry can have his perspective. I started riding in 1974 and remember the neighbors “Bad Fast” ElTigre and could not stop thinking about Cats while I was riding other brands. Then in the late 80’s I was working at a powersports shop and started riding our Cat demos and have been on them ever since. I think a lot of it is the pure passion he has for sport and the people in it. THANK YOU Mr. Skime your passion fuels mine and I will always be a CAT MAN! PS, I have seen some video of you riding, any tips for a 50+ rider that wants to go east and do a real cross-country race? 🙂
