Tucker Hibbert On the Mend After Suffering Internal Injuries

March 18, 2012 – Monster Energy/Arctic Cat’s Tucker Hibbert suffered internal injuries after crashing in a downhill section at the ISOC Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale Saturday evening in Lake Geneva, Wisc. Hibbert walked off the track under his own power but after his abdominal pain gradually increased, he chose to check himself into an ER at a local hospital. It was quickly determined he had a moderate laceration in his left kidney which caused internal bleeding along with bruising on his pancreas. He was transferred to a trauma center in Milwaukee where he is currently being closely monitored by his doctors and nurses.

He is fully alert and received no head trauma from the crash. His doctors are optimistic by his improvements overnight and expect him to make a full recovery without surgical repairs. Hibbert was scheduled to fly to Sweden tomorrow to compete in the Clash of Nations Super Snowcross event March 23-24. It would have been his final snocross event of the 2011/2012 season.

  1. T-Train get well soon!! And watch out for those Milwaukee nurses they pinch back.
Heck of a season for you and A/C especially on a new chassis.

  2. Glad to hear your’e ok what a bummer!! Hope all is well, keep mending.Even though the season didn’t end on a high note…your’e the best!!

  3. Tucker, your No. 1 fans from Idaho(DIANE, Brent Beckstead and Darrell was sad to hear of your crash. We knew when we read the standings that something had to keep you out of first place. Mandy take good care of him and get him ready for next year. Hope to see you guys in Fargo.

  4. Tucker —despite Saturdays out come, you were really putting on a show as you were racing from back of the pack to either 5th or 6th place if I remember correctly.. Sunday wasn’t the same without you in the event.

In my opinion though, it’s too bad that your merchandise tent had to be taken down on Sunday morning as there were many fans looking to purchase something from the monster energy star.

Hope you recover as quick as you get around the race track!

  5. Hi,I totally agree the 6 pntois, and I’m glad that I think I’m strong in #1, 4-6 but for #2 & 3, I really need to train it. For an internal auditor, I also think if you can talk to all level od staff easily, it helps you because sometimes you can get some important hints from your conversation !!
